A Softer Image

Another installment of five random things on this soon-to-be-dreary Friday. I had to check on last month’s post to make sure I didn’t repeat myself!

1. This studio. It’s incredible - the space, the design, everything. I wish I had room in our house to have something like this for when clients come over. Then I’d have them come over all the time, just to hang out! Oh, can you imagine? Brad would LOVE to cook dinner for people that often. And I’d make cupcakes. Oh geez, my daydreaming is out of control.
2. Dark chocolate Milky Way bars. As my husband has learned, things like this are an easy fix for bad days.
3. Google Calendar. Not only can I share my ASI calendar with my second shooters so they can see what’s coming up, but I can also see what’s going on with Brad’s four (FOUR) calendars as well. It makes things really convenient, and saves paper while we’re at it.
4. Kubota’s Action Pack 2. I have all four (including the Production Tools) and this is my favorite. In particular, I use the Mocha BW for lots of my black and white conversions, and I use the Daily Multi-Vitamin for just about every photograph. And adding a little Lord of the Rings Everyday (at a low percent) can really make a difference to ceremony or baby portraits.
5. Twitter. I’ve only started using it, but I already love it. It’s like blogging but simpler and better, and I’m automatically caught up with friends (and they with me!). I think I’ll start another account for what we’re working on for ASI.
