October 3rd, 2007  New ASI logo is in progress!

I found Creative Montage through a wedding website, actually. They create custom monograms for couples to use in their wedding materials, and will even help you make the materials! The image on the right is from their portfolio; I just love their style and thought it could add something to my branding. I’ve been wrestling with our logo for a long time now and just have never settled on something I liked. I’ll be using a new logo in all of my marketing materials, my website, and products/deliverables. So I figured, why not try out Creative Montage?

In short, I’m so thankful I made the decision to work with them. They design five options for me and I choose my favorite, and I’ll receive a JPG and PDF version of it. I’m going to see if I can also pay more to get it in vector form. Each step of the way I provide input on what I’d like to see and they use that input to create the next design. It couldn’t be easier, and right off the bat I love the first design they made!! I asked them for the next one to make the “A” stand out more and do some other things… I just can’t wait to see what they come up with.

I definitely recommend this service to anyone looking for branding for their wedding. It’s a very useful thing to have, from crafting invitations to table settings to labels to put on the back of your thank-you notes. I created a doodle (see left) of Brad and me for our wedding and it was a huge hit. We used it on everything - stamps on our invitations (via Zazzle) to the back of our ceremony bulletins. My sister even copied it onto our cake cutting tools for us as a surprise! So there’s all sorts of stuff you can do with a monogram, a doodle, or whatever fits you. Whatever you choose can represent your personality, unity and unify your whole wedding!
